Mason Jars of Mystery

"Be not miserable about what may happen tomorrow. The same everlasting Father, who cares for you today, will care for you tomorrow." - Francis de Sales
This quote has constantly been on my mind, by choice, do in part to our human nature. It brings me so much comfort, especially when I scold myself with it. Remembering the magnitude of God's love & grace is almost impossible. Frankly, I don't even fully understand it. Yet, I should know that God always provides & that He will never leave me lost at sea. Praise the Lord.

Hello again. I am not a blogging expert so I am not sure if three posts in a row is overkill, but I have a lot on my mind. Today I am thinking about Mason jars. Levi & I went to the Antique Mall on Mass this past week (which I might add has become not so 'antique-y' & more 'flea-y') & we stumbled upon these glorious vintage Mason jars. What caught my eye, what set them apart, was that they were blue & had this glorious, almost bullet, shape. So, so beautiful. And of course, I knew exactly what to do with them - canisters. When we moved we tossed our canisters because they had gotten creepy over the years. I can imagine my flour and sugar sitting majestically on my kitchen counter, with an elegant blue hue to them. And what I loved the most was that we didn't just find Ball Mason jars, but all different brands; Root, Drey & Atlas, with slightly different shades of blue & slightly different body shapes. What sealed the deal was that they were 2 quart jars - perfect for canisters. I am hoping to go back in a few weeks & purchase these babies.

Also, the Rock fabric swatch arrived. Not liking it so much now. It's kind of got a brown thing going on. I definitely want grey.

Anyway, I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend. I am currently doing laundry & getting ready for the trek to Pomona (Levi's hometown. It's about 45 minutes from Lawrence), to spend the weekend with his parents.

God bless.
